More and more premises in modern times now have a secondary key holder (Key Holding) that will hold keys for the premises and will have them respond to any alarm call-outs in order to check the premises with police and disarm an alarm activation. The only problem can be that this will occur during an unsociable hour and the reliance upon a designated member of staff to attend the call-out can leave you uncertain to the fact whether the activation will be attended.

We are able to hold keys for your premises and attend any activation within an hour and a half, which is the current requirement. We can take the stress of securing your property away from you, giving you peace of mind that a rapid response vehicle will attend to a call-out at your property.

With EMS UK providing a key holding service it means you can save static guarding costs, yet still allowing you to have a rapid call-out should the situation arise, meaning your costs are kept lower.

Alarm Response Times:

We provide a very large coverage area for key holding across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Llanelli, Swansea and branching into parts of Mid Wales. See the map for a rough coverage area.

Blue: Pembrokeshire – within 30 minutes.

Green: Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Ceredigion and surrounding areas – 30-45 minutes.

Red: Ceredigion and Powys – 45 minutes+.

Key Holding Costs

Key holding costs are paid per annum which is for us to retain the keys for your residential or business property. If a call-out is required there is a call-out charge which is charged for one hour of us arriving on scene and, should there be any overstay on that hour, and additional charge for every 30 minutes after that. Within the requirements of BS7984 2008 we are required to carry out a Health & Safety Risk Assessment and a site inspection, which is a one off cost.

We are also able to provide security cover should the need arise, until your premises have been made safe and secure. Extra cover and steps to secure your property can be organised to save on site costs.
